Hi everybody. It’s Mary Cheney here at VoIP Supply. And today, we’re going to be unboxing Jabra’s Engage 65, which comes in stereo and mono, and we’re going to unbox the stereo version. So, let’s get to it.
Mary Cheney:
All right so let’s start unboxing the Engage 65 stereo version. It’s very nicely packaged. Here’s our base. This can come off. Can remove this as well.
Mary Cheney:
And here’s the beautiful headset. And Jabra does a really nice job, they actually label everything that’s in here so, that’s kind of cool. So, here’s your cords. Here’s your power for the base. And a little quick starter guide, which I highly encourage reading through these. They’re packed with all sorts of good information. And make sure that you download on your PC, or your laptop, the Jabra Direct application. And that’ll give you some awesome added features.
Mary Cheney:
Okay so now we can see the base here, and you’ve got some buttons that we can talk about. Here’s how to answer your call right from the base station. And here’s how you end the call. You can actually mute directly from here as well. You can see you’ve got your charging indicator. So, the headset is currently charging. You can connect a desk phone, which is what this cord is for, and you can connect it through the back of the base station. You’ve got your laptop. And then, if you had additional headsets, it’ll light up.
Mary Cheney:
So, let’s look at the mic boom, right here. This is pretty cool. There is a busy light indicator right here. So, when you’re talking, there’s a little light here. There’s actually a mute button right on the mic boom for you so you can just hit that. You’ve got a volume adjustment as well. And you can answer the call by clicking on that button.
Mary Cheney:
So, let’s talk about some of the other great features of this duct wireless professional headset. You can get up to 490 feet in range, three times the wireless density, advanced noise, canceling microphone, enhanced speakers with intelligent volume control. Up to 13 hours of talk time, and you can connect up to two devices. That pretty much went over all of the great features that are available with this headset. But I do want to say this headset was made with comfort in mind. It’s a high-quality headset. The cushions are very, very soft, which makes them easy to wear for long periods of time. Jabra makes a solid headset. I can say, personally, I’ve been using a Jabra headset myself and I get compliments all the time on how great the sound quality is.

The other feature that Jabra offers is Jabra Direct as a desktop application. One really cool feature that I love about it is it actually will tell me when my mic boom isn’t lined up. So, it’ll tell me to adjust my mic boom right in a little pop-up notification so that whoever I’m talking to can hear me clearly.
Mary Cheney:
One other cool thing and feature that Jabra offers when you’re talking, if you’re breathing into the microphone, it actually can tune that out so people don’t hear you breathing on a call. But overall Jabra, solid product. I’m really excited about this one. It’s a great product, highly recommend Jabra Engage 65.
